Improved Snowball (Glitter)

Improved Snowball is a redesign of a sparkler composition (originally appearing in Weingart) by PGI member Mike Beyer which he had worked out by trial and error.


Improved Snowball
Potassium nitrate 35
Barium nitrate 16
Sulphur 9
Antimony trisulfide 13
Charcoal 9
Aluminium 10
Dextrin 8
Add 8% by weight of 5% alcohol in 2% boric acid solution
